A group of 8+ people are thinking of going to Missouri for a raft float trip or canoe trip, plus would like to stay in cabins for a night or two. I know there are a lot in Missouri but was looking for anyone that has gone to a specific one and was satisfied. Thanks!

Rafting Feedback: Just south of West Plains, Missouri is a river called “The Spring.” It is a great river for rafting or canoeing. It flows south into Arkansas and during the Spring season it is super.
Rafting Feedback: I float a lot on the Black River down by Lesterville. I’ve stayed at a few places there. Another nice place is the Bass River Resort in Steelville.
Rafting Feedback: There are certainly numerous places.
One that I like is located about 40 miles west of St. Louis close to I-44.
Meramac State Park.. Has nice rustic cabins. Easy access to the interstate. Close to the river.
I live about an hour north of the park.. Sitting here experiencing another ice storm. And a relaxing warm weather float trip does seem very appealing right now .

Rafting Feedback: Noel, MO has a great resort for new canoers and old canoers alike! The River Ranch Resort has tent spots, RV parking and hookups, and cabins (for those who want a private shower, bathroom, sink and matress to sleep on.) If you are like me- i love the outdoors, but want a good nights sleep so i can go the whole weekend long! They built a bunch of new cabins and have a whole new convenience store on their site in case you forget any necessities or change your mind about dinner. Memorial Day weekend is a must for us each year- and this place is our favorite. Call early- they book up fast.
