Rafting Feedback: Aqua socks, cause u gonna get wet no matter what.
Rafting Feedback: go to dillards and get some river sandles. timberland is the brand i use.
Rafting Feedback: I dont recommend shoes, maybe thongs. You will get wet .If by accident that youfalll out then you wont have to worry about taking off shoes,
Rafting Feedback: i have a canoe and too me it doesn’t matter. Probly something loose like sandasl or flip-flops but NEVER high heels! ( i have expierienced high heels in a canoe and wil never try again) :)?
Rafting Feedback: If it’s cold water, aquabootswetsuit booties are the way to go - if it’s warm, sandals are often OK.
But whatever you choose - be sure you can swim in them.
Rafting Feedback: Id try the water shoes you can buy at walmart. they are made for water and wont slip off and get lost like sandles can
Rafting Feedback: sandals of course! if u wear something like sneakers you’ll probably get water in them, maybe flip-flops but probably not since it wont match what you’ll be wearing
Rafting Feedback: Good old fashioned deck shoes ( like a pair of womens keds). Canvas slip ons with a real light textured sole that grips like you wouldn’t believe. They have been around like a thousand years and still are the best for grip, cut protection, and for NOT jamming your little or big toe.
Trust me…..deck shoes are the way to go, and jamming your toes can make a good weekend bad….real fast.
Rafting Feedback: you should wear swim shoes or flip-flops
Rafting Feedback: Aquasocks or Teva sandals would be my recommendation.
You can pick up aquasocks at most major discount department stores such as Wal-Mart or Target or at a sporting goods store. Tevas are available at stores such as REI, EMS, Sierra Trading Post, etc. You can also buy similar styles at Wal-Mart or Target if you don’t want to spend a lot.
Just make sure they have rubber, non-slip soles and are appropriate for water sports. I don’t recommend flip flops because if you capsize, it is easy to lose a shoe.
