Can you answer Sarah C’s question about Rafting?:

I need to know what the water level is in the broad river in Georgia, for a kayaking trip.
Anyone know of a website?

Rafting Feedback: Here is the best site for finding stream, creek and river levels. Oddly enough, it is brought to us by our governement (looks like they can do something right)

This is the specific site for GA, but if you click on the usgs symbol on the upper left, it will take you to the main page, just click on the state on the map of the US and it will take you to the water monitor site for that state as well.

    Happy paddling.

Rafting Feedback: Take that data from above with some experience on the river. For example, in my area, on one river, a gauge reading of 1.5 feet means you will be taking your solo canoe for a walk interrupted by pools of deep water. And 4 feet on the same river means don’t go.
